Now is
an exciting time in our profession. Over the last decade, we've
seen amazing progress in the field of prosthetics and orthotics.
Ever-improving materials and technology continue to focus on
improving patient comfort and mobility, with greater accuracy
of fit, lighter weight, and greater durability as perpetual
goals. We have built our success on the foundation of skills
and technical knowledge that our practitioners and technicians
possess as well as the attention to detail and commitment to
outstanding service that our administrative staff members practice
day-after-day.
Choosing a facility to provide
your prosthesis, orthosis, or post-mastectomy needs is one of
the most important decisions you will ever make, and I know
there are many companies out there for you to consider. I encourage
you to do your research, because I believe you will find that
no other facility comes close to successfully providing—the
latest in technology and the best in care—that we provide
for those individuals who trust us with their lives.

Limb Drive for Haiti
More than 75 amputations are being performed daily on Haitians who suffered major traumatic injuries as a result of the January 12 earthquake and its aftermath. As many as 110,000 new amputees may be included among survivors of the quake, some sources predict.
The Limbs for Haiti drive is a program of Snell Laboratory, in cooperation with the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association and their Physicians for Peace partners who ensure that all prosthetic donations are delivered to devastated regions of Haiti for the direct benefit of their disabled citizens.
Snell Laboratory will accept and refurbish donated limbs and components, regardless of whether the device was fabricated by their facility.
To donate prosthetic limbs no longer in use to the Limbs for Haiti drive, bring them to a Snell Laboratory location in your neighborhood; click on this link to locate your nearest Snell Laboratory location.
